1st and 2nd Shift Packaging and Paint Line Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a very fast-paced environment with dynamic, high-energy, and hardworking individuals dedicated to producing a quality product.  This person would work with a variety of departments like engineering, purchasing, production floor, and shipping department for both first and second shifts

Supervise packaging and paint line line crew and schedule based on workflows. Monitor inventory of all supplies. Work with the operations manager to discuss the scheduling and deadlines of all of the different jobs we need to get to our customers on time. Must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and communicate production with rest of facility supervisors. Create and perform quality control inspections

20+ team of packaging and paint line crew

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • MUST HAVE at least 5 years’ experience in packaging
  • Ability to work with others and explain jobs/setups to teach
  • Ability to work well under pressure and short lead times
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule
  • Have a hands-on attitude with acute attention to detail
  • Must be able to multi-task in a custom job shop environment
  • Must have strong delegation skills
  • Ability to operate a forklift a plus.

1st and 2nd Shift Production Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a very fast-paced environment with dynamic, high-energy, and hardworking individuals dedicated to producing a quality product.  This person would work with a variety of departments like engineering, purchasing, production floor, and shipping department for both first and second shifts  As well as powder coating, welding, turret and laser cutter, mesh welding, CNC wire forming, and shipping departments.

  • Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.
  • Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
  • Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
  • Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 4 year degree in Mechanical or Industrial engineering desired
  • Must have 10 years’ experience managing 50+ people in manufacturing
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in a team environment
  • Read and interpret drawings and bills of materials
  • Have a hands-on attitude with acute attention to detail

Key Account Manager – New England, Mid Atlantic, Midwest and Southeast

JOB DESCRIPTION
New England Wire Products (NEWP) is seeking a confident and highly motivated individual looking for an opportunity with great career and compensation potential as Key Account Mgr. with experience in the Supermarket front end merchandising category.  Other merchandising sales experience is desired with the position focus being on additional opportunities outside of the front end category.  This person will be energetic, disciplined, career focused, and present themselves in a professional manner at all times.  You must be able to work alone and as part of a team dedicated to the growth of our business.  This person will be compensated at a higher than industry average and be given the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally in a great industry working with global leaders in retail and manufactured goods.

This job will require the qualified candidate to identify customer display and Point-of-Purchase (POP) merchandising needs in the expansion of business opportunities with both existing and new clients.  The duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Increasing sales volume and expanding business with existing customers
  • Establishing new business opportunities through phone calls, email communications, and market research
  • Attending product review meetings with customers and providing accurate reports on next steps needed for closing business opportunities
  • Achieving goals set by Sr. Management
  • Assembly of company products in the display and POP category
  • Travel when required (25 – 40%) to customer and NEWP corporate locations
  • Provide A+ customer service and project management on a daily basis
  • Provide daily updates on customers and projects using a web-based CRM application
  • Work with Engineering, Prototyping, and Production teams at our company owned facilities to ensure projects meet customer’s expectations

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of Point of Purchase display sales/account management experience

Truck Driver

JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will be 75% driving local NE day trips and 25% will be working with our Warehouse Supervisor.  Prepare truck for operation by inspecting general condition. Loading truck by placing and securing items. Deliver items on schedule to various destinations.

Applicants must have a Class-A CDL license, be able to operate both Box Trucks and Tractor Trailer combinations, and be experienced with interstate travel.

Applicants must have a safe driving record and history and be able to pass the DOT drug test.

Applicants should be hands on, willing to load or unload trailers and willing to perform general warehouse functions during periods when there are no scheduled deliveries.

Ability to operate a forklift a plus. Must be able to pick and carry up to 50 pounds.

Woodworking Production Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTON
Seeking a Woodworking Production Supervisor to plan and supervise all work within our wooden display fixtures department.  Motivate workers to achieve their highest quality of workmanship. Work with other departments to plan, coordinate and control the manufacturing process to make sure that all work is produced efficiently, timely and is of good quality.   Ultimately responsible for sample making, assembly, packaging of custom displays
