OUR HISTORY

Founded in 1980 by Charlie Peters, New England Wire Products is a third generation family-owned business made in America. Over the past 41 years, the company has transformed into an innovator in the retail display business and has expanded into other retail products. Today, New England Wire Products employs hundreds of people across over 600,000 sq ft of strategically located production and warehouse facilities across four U.S. locations in Leominster, Massachusetts, Kingfield, Maine, and Greensboro, Georgia.

1980

Charlie Peters, Sr. opens New England Wire Products in 800 sq ft of space in Framingham, MA

1988

Chuck Peters, Jr. joins NEWP full time

1994

Chuck Peters, Jr. purchases NEWP from Charlie Peters, Sr. Growing fast, NEWP expands to 45,000 sq ft in Worcester, MA

1997

NEWP moves to Airport Rd Leominster, MA to create new HQ with 100,000 sq ft facility
